Workflow

Dig by DJ

That set was incredible. What was in it?

Someone with better taste than you already did the filtering. Reverse-engineer their set into a shopping list.

The path

  1. DJ
  2. Set
  3. Tracklist
  4. Track
  5. Artist
  6. Label

Step by step

How to run it

  1. Pick a DJ whose selection you trust

Not the biggest name — the one whose sets you replay.

  2. Find the set

Radio archives and mix platforms hold more than the festival circuit does.

  3. Pull the tracklist

Cross-check two databases; each misses different IDs.

  4. Triage unreleased IDs

Note them and set a reminder rather than losing an hour to a dub that is not out yet.

  5. Walk track to artist to label

Every named track is three more leads.
