Workflow

Learn Harmonic Mixing

Why do some blends clash even when the beats line up?

Camelot notation turns music theory into arithmetic: same number, or one step around the wheel.

beginnercamelotkeystheory

The path

  1. Key
  2. Camelot code
  3. Compatible set
  4. Blend

Step by step

How to run it

  1. Convert keys to Camelot codes

    A = minor, B = major, 1–12 around the wheel.

  2. Learn the four safe moves

Same code, +1, -1, or switch letter at the same number.

  3. Analyse your library once

Write keys into tags so every track carries its code.

  4. Use energy boost moves sparingly

+7 semitones or a +2 jump lifts a room — it also snaps the mood.

  5. Trust your ears over the wheel

Detected keys are wrong often enough that a clash means the tool, not you.
